Mark Thorogood, B.Sc.
Mark joined LIM as the Director in January 2022. He brings with him not only his valuable experience as a church leader/planter but also his extensive international expertise within the automotive industry. His automotive experience in UK, Germany and USA spans the luxury and EV sectors and where he has managed several diverse functional areas but recently focussed on the strategic leadership of early stage growth in start-up companies.
Those leadership skills and experience are readily transferable from secular work to Kingdom Ministry where he is working to develop organisational structures and processes that will enable LIM to continue its growth trajectory and achieve its mission objectives. Informally named “the Enforcer”, Mark’s key responsibilities are to ensure that Keith’s high-octane enthusiasm and energy is balanced (where necessary) by appropriate due-diligence.
Mark is a keen golfer, a Liverpool supporter, husband to Sally, father to two children and grandfather to three beautiful grand-daughters!

I want to thank God as I surrendered my life to him, how that he directed my footsteps, and walked with me to shape and mold me into the vessel that I am today!
At a very young age my mother had a great influence on me with always being willing to help others and not expecting anything in return. In my mid 20’s I was inspired to venture out and start my own business which led into many different businesses in my lifetime. I had experience with being involved with church and Christian school activities and local city ministries and was also involved with short term mission in many different countries. My passion is to help people who are struggling with the Lord’s direction that together we can help impact their livelihood physically and spiritually.
I also give much credit to my lovely wife Ruth as to where I am today, she had a great influence on my life and was very supportive in my journey in life. We were married in November 1984 and have 5 children and 11 grandchildren. We are blessed in the name of Jesus Christ!!
